Stopped of at Cafe Anonymous in Blackheath for lunch. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito but asked for it to be made vegan, so no cheese. It was so good!

A few months ago I went on a mini road trip, or what we like to call it, a Photography Pilgrimage, to the West where The Blue Mountains are located with some of my uni friends. We met up at 7am at Kingswood to see who's car we would be taking and to plan our day.
The first stop on the pilgriamge was Scenic World, Cliff Drive in Katoomba. That's one of the tourist points int he Blue Mountains, but we weren't really interested in going inside, we ventured outside the main location to explore. It was foggy and raining, which made for interesting photos.
The second stop was Catalina Raceway on Red Hill St, Katoomba. I had never been on an old raceway before so it was really interesting to see. Opposite it was a really nice looking park with a lake that had the clearest water I had ever seen! It made for really good photos.
The third stop was the Blast Furnace on Lot 10 inch St in Lithgow. This location was a bit tricky to get to because the GPS was telling us to go a different way and we had gotten separated from the other car and there was no phone reception at one point (always stick together!) We finally managed to get some reception to call the others and they directed us from there. I had never been to anything like an old blast furnace before. It looked like an old wasteland.
The fourth and final stop of the pilgrimage was Mount Panorama on Panorama Avenue in Bathurst. When you're at the top, it's really good for taking panorama photos if you haven't already guessed. There is also a raceway there too.
Hope you guys enjoyed reading about my trip to The Blue Mountains! More adventures to come soon! xx
