Sunday night at 6PM, Sadhana Kitchen in Bondi hosted their first ever night market filled with delicious food, music, stores and friendly people.
I got there at around 6:45PM and there was already a huge line at the door to get it. The event was bound to be a success as it had already tones of exposure, amazing collaborators, was in Bondi, and of course, Hosted by Sadhana Kitchen.
In order to accomodate the line outside Sadhana Kitchen were kind enough to hand out a sample of a cacao drink as well as sell pizza and cinnamon scrolls if you had cash on you at the price of 2 for $15.

Mesquite BBQ Pulled Jackfruit Burger

Balinese Shiitake Satay & Tempeh Skewers With Green Salad

Gluten Free Pizza Slices With Pineapple & Tempeh Bacon

Gluten Free & Refined Sugar Free Cinnamon Scroll. Caramel sauce was added later to this and it was bomb.

I hadn't tried any of these options from Sadhana Kitchen before. Nic and I wanted to sample the whole menu, but we were so full from what we ended up sharing. When we placed our orders, I was asked for a name and to wait for our food where the kitchen was. As soon as we walked up, the chef said "Marcella?" and Nic thought that we knew each other when really, the order had been processed through their WiFi and been received instantly. So that by the time we walked over the food was already waiting for us at the counter. This technology is news to me and I was very impressed and thought that it was a very efficient efficient way to run things.

They had a few of their usual raw vegan treats for sale as well.

As this was my first time going to the Sadhana Kitchen in Bondi, I didn't really know what to expect in terms of the overall space. I would definitely recommend getting there the time that it starts if not a few minutes earlier. I look forward to the next night market :)
