Last Friday night I attended MBFWA for the first time. I've always been curious about the event but I always felt like something was holding me back from attending.
This year, what pushing me into going was the Talks with Icons: Frontrunners event. When I read the description of the event that was part of MBFWA I bought my ticket straight away! Lately I have been loving going to talks and events similar to this one where the outcome is to leave feeling inspired to start your own business and to find the strength within yourself to accomplish something you've always wanted to but have always kept putting it aside "Maybe one day I'll do it." Sound familiar? If this sounds like you, then I highly recommend attending one of these events!
I arrived at Carriageworks 1 hour before the talk to suss everything out. As this was my first time attending a fashion event, I thought it would be a great opportunity to take some BTS photos of the crowd.

A little after 5PM and the talk began. The line up was simply incredible! I feel so lucky to have been able to have had the chance to listen to these entrepreneurs/business woman/girl bosses!! These woman are #GOALS.
After the talk ended, the ladies stayed back and got to know us which was so great! I really appreciated talking to each one about different things. Maneeta and I then joined the after part at the Star Lounge for drinks and canapes and then we went home.
