This is one of the newer art museum's that Rio has to offer. It's called Museu de Arte do Rio or M.A.R. for short. The museum in itself is very nice and high end because it's extremely new. I did however expect more the the exhibitions that were there, but I guess because it is very new there is still more to come. I had never been to a gallery that had mostly Brazilian art work. I'm so used to seeing well known international artists that this was nice to see something local and really get the feel of how beautiful Brazil really is.
