This is part two of my first adventure in Brazil. After the CCBB, we went to visit Escadaria Selarón. This is located in the city near Lapa. We were lucky that there weren't a lot of people there so there aren't too many photo bombs but this place gets packed with tourists. People actually live beyond those steps.
So just a little back story, Escadaria Selarón is the work of an artist called Jorge Selarón. He was born in Chile then he moved to Brazil. As he has passed away, these steps have turned into a tribute of his love of Brazil.
I have been dying to go to this place ever since I was in primary school and saw Snoop Dogg's video Beautiful that was filmed in Brazil and this was one of the places he visited. All I wanted to do was to be able to take a photo on those steps and in November of 2013, I finally got to do that!
